- 10 oz High Quality Dark Chocolate
- 1/2 cup Heavy Cream
- 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
- 1/4 cup Cocoa Powder
- 1 tsp Flaky Sea Salt
Finely chop the dark chocolate and place it into a medium heat-proof bowl.
Heat the heavy cream in a small saucepan until it just begins to simmer, then immediately pour it over the chopped chocolate.
Let the mixture sit undisturbed for 3 minutes, then add the vanilla extract and stir gently until completely smooth and glossy.
Cover the bowl and refrigerate for 2 hours, or until the chocolate mixture is firm enough to scoop.
Using a small spoon, scoop out small bite-sized portions and quickly roll them into balls using your hands.
Roll each truffle in cocoa powder to coat, and press a tiny pinch of flaky sea salt into the top of each one.
