Ingredients
  

  • 2 large Yellow Onions
  • 1 cup Gluten Free All-Purpose Flour
  • 1/4 cup Cornstarch
  • 1 tsp Paprika
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 cup Cold Club Soda
  • 2 cups Vegetable Oil

Instructions
 

  • Peel the yellow onions and slice them into 1/2-inch thick rings. Carefully separate the rings.
  • In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the gluten free all-purpose flour, cornstarch, paprika, garlic powder, and salt.
  • Gradually pour the cold club soda into the dry ingredients, whisking until a smooth, pancake-like batter forms.
  • Heat the vegetable oil in a deep skillet or pot to 375 degrees fahrenheit.
  • Dip the onion rings into the batter one at a time, letting the excess drip off, and carefully drop them into the hot oil.
  • Fry for 2 to 3 minutes per side until crispy and golden brown.
  • Remove with tongs and drain on a paper towel-lined plate. Serve immediately.
